Monkeys were a common subject in many of Henri Rousseau's artworks. As part of our unit on rainforests, we will be exploring the ways in which plants and animals have adapted to survive in their environment.
Sara and Daneka have both focussed on using radiating lines to add detail to their sketches.
This term we have been studying the artworks of Henri Rousseau. He was famous for painting very detailed scenes with overlapping plants and many exotic animals. Funnily, Henri Rousseau had never actually been to a real jungle! Lori and Caitlin were inspired by his jungle scenes when creating their digital rainforest artworks.
As part of our History unit on Gold, students have been using Apps such as SuperImpose, Bill Atkinson Photocard, Bubble and Colour effects. Here are just a few we would like to share.
In the above picture Lori used Superimpose, Bubble and Colour Effects. She used the same photo to create a postcard. She wrote back to home about how harsh the conditions are in the goldfields.
Caitlyn used SuperImpose, Bubble and Colour Effects to create picture depicting her in a goldfields scene.
